The plot is divided in nine routes in total, and each of the routes you get are determined by the personalities you pick for the first two or three female main characters. After using twice the H-mode the player can choose the four female main characters and other female sub-characters with character of his or her own creation and even choose their personality.
The character editor allows customization of a 3D model with facial and body features, allowing the player to choose even the voice of the character between six voices. The game has various sets, which includes locations such as classrooms, parks, a swimming pool, a red-light district, etc. Premium Play Darkness is a simulation game similar in concept to Artificial Academy games.
